Obituary

Albert Lee "Red" Davis, 74, of Union City passed away 9:38 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2020, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Salem Cemetery near Union City. Brother Ron Gray will officiate.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Albert was born November 24, 1945, in Helena, Arkansas, son of the late Leslie Herbert Davis, Sr. and the late Annie Leona (Wolfe) Davis. He was a retired employee of the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and was active with the United Steel Workers Local 878. Albert served in the United States Army and served in the National Guard in Arkansas and Tennessee. He was a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle and a wonderful friend.

He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Alfred and Dee Davis of West Helena, Arkansas.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Leslie Herbert Davis, Jr. and Ernest Dale Davis.
