Obituary

Aileen Juanita Anderson, 94, of Union City passed away 2:28 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at The Waters of Union City.

Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hickman City Cemetery. Pastor Tommy Hall will officiate.

There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.

Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Aileen was born April 6, 1927, in Vero Beach, Florida, daughter of the late Oliver and Belle (Webb) Hunter. Aileen was a retired registered nurse and a member of First Assembly of God in Union City.

She is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Pierson of Union City; one son and daughter-in-law, J.C. and Virgie Hughes of Midville, Georgia; three brothers, Harold Hunter of Nesbitt, Mississippi and Marvin Hunter and Richard Hunter both of Fort Pierce, Florida; two sisters, Linda Hunter of Fort Pierce, Florida and Diane Bessenbaucher of Okeechobee, Florida; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Jerry Hughes; her son-in-law, Frederick Pierson; one sister; and seven brothers.
