Adam Lynn Cooley, 34, of Troy passed away 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 7, 2020, at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, Kentucky. Brother Rick Burton will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Tristan Cooley, Bryce Cooley, Houston Holder, Jeremy Black, Sam Rushing and Bryan Allen.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to a scholarship fund that has been established for Connor Cooley at First Citizens National Bank.

Adam was born October 13, 1986, in Memphis, son of the late Dickie and Carol (Fortner) Cooley. He married Jennifer (Davis) Cooley June 14, 2014. She survives. Adam had been employed as a construction worker. He enjoyed body building, working on vehicles and being a Daddy.

He is also survived by his son, Connor Cooley of Troy; one brother, Ben Cooley (Sarah) of Clinton, Kentucky; one cousin, Angela Black (Jeremy) of Clinton, Kentucky; one niece, Caroline Cooley of Clinton, Kentucky; one nephew, Brayden Cooley of Clinton, Kentucky; his grandmothers, Martha Cooley of Water Valley, Kentucky and Betty Fortner of Clinton, Kentucky; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Jeanette Davis of Troy.

He was also preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gerald Cooley and Gilbert Fortner.
